We offer scheduled classes or one-on-one tutoring on YOUR schedule.

Our office at 119 Hobson offers a safe and secure location with several private and group tutoring classrooms. A list of alternative sites is available, including the Garland County Library.

ADULT BASIC EDUCATION (ABE)
Targeted to adults who read or write below a 5th grade level, this personalized instructional program is designed to enhance functional reading and writing skills. Students are matched with tutors or small groups and meet to improve basic education skills for about one to two hours each week with the schedule coordinated between the student(s) and tutor.
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)
Our English as a Second Language (ESL) program provides a dynamic platform to hone your English reading, writing, and speaking skills. As a student, this flexible program allows you to dictate your pace of advancement. We offer small group and one-on-one tutoring sessions for students to improve their conversational English through speaking and listening exercises. This program is designed to help learners progress to our ABE program.


BASIC MATH
Basic Math is a course built to empower adult learners in their pursuit of fundamental numeracy skills. This journey encompasses diverse objectives, ranging from GED exam readiness to nurturing numeracy skills that hold relevance in everyday life and professional pursuits. This program offers instruction in essential general math skills, laying the groundwork for deeper mathematical understanding. Students will cultivate math sense, fluency, and a foundation in general reasoning by applying basic numeracy skills, delving into proportional reasoning, pre-algebra, and geometry.
CITIZENSHIP
Our US Citizenship classes offer the perfect platform for students who are gearing up to apply for or have recently applied for U.S. citizenship. These comprehensive classes delve into key aspects such as American History, Civics, and the U.S. Government, while bolstering English language proficiency. The curriculum extends to practical training, featuring mock interviews and dedicated preparation for the US Citizenship Exam, ensuring you're equipped for success on this transformative journey.


COMPUTER AND TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
We offer a variety of classes tailored to computer beginners, offering hands-on, relaxed learning to help you meet your technology goals. Whether you're new to computers or feeling intimidated, our courses provide a comfortable environment to help you become at ease with technology such as social media, smartphone use, computer basics, internet navigation, email applications, Microsoft Office applications, and more.
DYSLEXIA
We provide tutoring pathways for individuals with dyslexia. Utilizing the Barton Reading and Spelling System, our dedicated tutors are armed with the expertise to guide and mentor individuals with dyslexia through an educational journey of progress and growth.
